Calvary Cemetery, Los Angeles, welcomed the return of their long-standing tradition of the Stations of the Cross following a two-year absence. A Lenten season tradition which began in the early 1920’s with local priests and deacons leading the Stations of the Cross through Calvary Cemetery Los Angeles.  (more...)

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Jesus lives, and his Church is alive! Join Archbishop José H. Gomez on the streets of Los Angeles to walk, pray, and witness our faith in and love for Christ. Camino: A Walk with Jesus is a spiritual pilgrimage during our “Forward in Mission” Jubilee celebrating 250 years of Catholic faith in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. On Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., our journey will start at Mission San Gabriel Arcángel and end at 3 p.m. at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angeles. Lunch will be provided, as well as shuttles for the return trip to the mission. Everyone is invited to walk with us! Peace in Christ, Fr. Parker Sandoval, Vice Chancellor and Senior Director of Ministerial Services.

Catholic Cemeteries and Mortuaries will be hosting a Career Fair on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at All Souls Cemetery & Mortuary Long Beach. Open positions include entry level to management and office and grounds personnel. Positions are available in Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara Counties.
